I am a behavioral ecologist interested in social behavior and sensory ecology. My work seeks to understand how the environment influences social aggregations, from how groups are formed, how they are maintained, and the patterns of associations and interactions among group members. I am also interested in understanding how habitat influences acoustics, and the strategies employed by organisms to exploit the acoustic properties of their habitats.
